This May on Showmax, Kyallo Kulture returns for a second season on 23 May, now as a Showmax Original title. The Kenyan reality series follows the personal lives of Betty Kyallo and her sisters Mercy and Gloria Kyallo. Kenyan telenovela Second Family continues with new episodes every Wednesday to Friday.
For some dark comedy mystery, watch out for the South African series Recipes for Love and Murder on 25 May, about a columnist and a rookie journalist who are determined to solve a small town murder and catch a killer.
On the international series front, HBO Max miniseries Love & Death, led by Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision) and Jesse Plemons (The Power of the Dog), premieres on 2 May. Also watch Power Book IV: Force S1 that follows Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) as he sets his eyes on becoming the biggest dealer in Chicago, premiering on 12 May.
Movies to look out for include Magic Mike XXL on 8 May, Jurassic World: Dominion on 22 May, Academy Award nominee for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay Triangle of Sadness and Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse also on 22 May.
