After the success of her Emmy-nominated comedy drama series The Flight Attendant, Kaley Cuoco returns with the comedy thriller Based on a True Story on 7 August. The series is a gripping tale of a realtor, a former tennis star and a plumber whose lives collide when they seize a unique opportunity to capitalise on America’s obsession with true crime and make their dreams come true.
On 20 August, catch the limited series The Best Man: The Final Chapters, based on the cult-classic film franchise The Best Man. The HBO drama series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty returns for a second season on 7 August as it continues to explore the professional and personal lives of the legendary 1980s Los Angeles Lakers basketball team. Also catch horror sensation M3GAN on 21 August, and the fifth and final season of hit medical drama New Amsterdam on 1 August.
