From South Africa, comes the new steamy thriller Fatal Seduction premiering on 7 July. The series follows Kgomotso Christopher (Legacy) as Nandi, a married professor who while on a weekend away with her best friend, is pulled into a passionate affair with a younger man, leading to betrayal and tragedy. Produced by Ochre Moving Pictures, Fatal Seduction also stars Thapelo Mokoena (Justice Served) in the leading role as Nandi’s husband Leonard, Lunathi Mampofu (The River), Prince Grootboom (Jiva!), Nat Ramabulana (The Wild), Ngele Ramulondi (Generations: The Legacy) and Frances Sholto-Douglas (The Kissing Booth).
Supa Team 4, Netflix’s first African animated series, premieres on 20 July. Created by Zambian Malenga Mulendema, and produced by South African animation studio Triggerfish, the eight-part series follows four teenage girls who team up with a former secret agent to save the world in a neo-futuristic Lusaka.
On 21 July, join Jamie Foxx, John Boyega and Teyonah Paris for an adventure like no other in the sci-fi comedy mystery They Cloned Tyrone. And for some dystopian thrills, catch Bird Box Barcelona on 14 July. The Spanish Bird Box spin-off follows father and daughter as they attempt to survive a post-apocalyptic future in which no one survives.
