This December on Netflix in Kenya, The Crown S6 returns for Part 2 on 14 December which sees Prince William and Prince Harry growing up, as we also explore the beginning of the royal romance between William and Kate Middleton.
On 8 December, catch the psychological thriller Leave the World Behind starring Ethan Hawke, Julia Roberts, Merhashala Ali and Kevin Bacon. The film, from Mr. Robot’s director Sam Esmail, follows a family whose luxurious getaway takes an ominous turn when a cyberattack knocks out their devices — and two strangers appear at their door.
The much-anticipated Zack Snyder sci-fi epic Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire arrives on 22 December, the same day as Tom Cruise’s 2022 Box Officee juggernaut Top Gun: Maverick which is credited for saving cinema after the impact of COVID-19.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sixth highest-grossing movie of 2023, arrives on 25 December, while Money Heist prequel spin-off series Berlin, which follows the titular character in his golden age as he attempts one of his most extraordinary heists, arrives on 29 December.
From across Africa, catch Tosh Gitonga’s new Netflix series Volume premiering on 20 December. The Kenyan music drama series follows Brian Kabugi in the role of Benja, a talented young musician from humble beginnings who gets entangled in dubious dealings while chasing his dream.
On 15 December, also watch Kenyan crime thriller Villains in the Metropolis that follows Sarah Hassan as a woman seeking vengeance on her cheating husband (played by Lucarelli Onyango).

From Nigeria, crime thriller Blood Vessel arrives on 8 December, followed by Mo Abudu’s seris WAR: Wrath and Revenge on 28 December. WAR is a spin-off of EbonyLife’s popular series Sons of the Caliphate.
