New Kenyan Showmax Original crime drama Faithless starts streaming from Thursday 6 July. The 10-part series, directed by Abdi Shuria, King Muriuki and Janet Chumbe, follows four church women who are plunged into a world where crime knows no bounds when they lock heads with a dangerous crime boss. Faithless stars Avril Nyambura (Pepeta), Rosemary Waweru (Tabasamu), Beatrice Mwai (Paa), Fatma Mohammed (Kina), Arabron Nyyneque (Second Family), Aleks Kamau (Volume), Peter Kamau (Selina), Abubakar Mwenda (Subira), Morris Mwangi (Famous) and news anchor Mark Masai who makes his acting debut.
The biggest reality show in Africa, Big Brother Naija, returns for an eighth season from 23 July with a brand new cast, new rivalries, ships and everything in between. From South Africa, stream Unmarried S3, the hit Mzansi Magic series that has birthed three adaptions across the continent – Single Kiasi in Kenya, To Have and To Hold in Ghana and Unmarried Nigeria. The third season which is available from 10 July follows new leads as wade through the murky waters of dating in the age of social media.
